this is so stylistically impressive. I’ve often struggled with writing poetry bc the form allows for such emphasis on the individual word, and I rely on long-winded paragraphs to create vivid imagery—I aspire to be able to write this way, so sparse, and yet so clear and powerful in its meaning.
